After the Rishi Durvasa cursed the Indra (the kind of Svarga) for insulting the Gift given by Durvasa, Devas lose all their Sri including strength, glory, energy, and fortune and they defeated by Asuras who lead by king Bali.
Then they sought the help of Lord Vishnu and he suggested to do Samudra Manthan.
And we all know Devas and Asuras were always the enemy of each other and were always fighting for various things. There was no possibility that they can do something good together, even nobody can think of that.
But to resolve the issue of having Sri to the whole world and accepting the suggestions of Lord Vishnu, they agreed to do Samudra Manthan together.
And we all know how that benefited both Asuras and Devas and the rest of the world.
In the same way, sometimes we should forget the competition and think about Co-Opetition for a good cause of the society, community or the world.
Competition is a good thing, but it doesn’t always work. Instead, sometimes, Co-Opetition can produce amazing results. If two big forces work together, then can produce amazing and unstoppable results. And Samudra Manthan is the best example of that.
Even two big competitor companies, Microsoft and Apple worked together to build Office for Mac. Also, lots of big giant companies are working together on lots of big open-source projects to support the community.
So why don’t we can create the same kind of Partnership and create such amazing products?
So stop and think, can you convert your competition into Co-Opetition.
