In the last verses of Chapter 9 of Shreemad Bhagavad Gita, Lord Shree Krishna talks about flowless devotion ( निष्काम भक्ति ).
We all know the verse “कृष्णं वंदे जगद्गुरुम्”. Lord Shree Krishna is a Mentor, Teacher, and Guru of the whole universe. But in real life, we all can have also other various mentors. 3 Things that we need to have in mind about mentors and while learning things from them.
- Whatever we learn from mentors, are we really applying it? Or properly applying it? If we do not apply it in the correct manner, then we will not get proper results. (refer to verse 23, Chapter 9)
- Seek the help of relevant mentors in any specific thing. If we ask the help of a business mentor to help in preparing a diet plan then he will not able to help it or guide it properly. (refer to verse 24 & 25, Chapter 9)
- Be open to your mentor and ask for specific and clear questions. Do not hide anything from them. Then only they will be able to properly guide us. (refer to verse 26, 27 & 26, Chapter 9)
