Leadership with Duties

In Shreemad Bhagavad Gita, Lord Shree Krishan explains that he is everything and everywhere. In Chapter 9, from verses 16th to 19th, he gives lots of his characteristics as a God.

If we think of the Business owner as a God of our organization, then we can learn a lot and apply a lot of things in our Leadership.

God is Father, Mother, and Grandfather

  • As a parent, our duty is not just growing up our children. We are responsible to grow them with proper culture. They should have a very good sense of good and bad. They should be capable enough with proper skills so they can stand up in society and get respect.
  • Same in the business, doing salaries on time is not enough. We are responsible to make our team members capable enough so they get respect in the market with proper skills.

Who gives results based on our deeds

  • God gives us results back based on our deeds.
  • As a leader, we should give proper compensation to our team members based on their efforts. It can not be justified in terms of money or bonus but other than that as well. Like, praise them, gratitude them, respect them, etc.

God is the greatest teacher

  • He is the greatest teacher to all and teaches us lots of things at every stage of our lives
  • We should become a teacher to our team members and they should be able to learn from us

He is the Sustainer and Shelter for everyone

  • God is the sustainer and shelter for all of us
  • As business owners, we should be the nearest, sustainer, master, and shelter for our team members.
